The Real Tri Squad Cleans Up At Miami Challenge

The Real Tri Squad recently competed in the Miami Challenge that took place at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Tri Squad members Nick Chase and Lesley Smith raced in the Pro race while Maria (Flaca) Guerrero raced in the AG middle distance race.

Each athlete performed at their optimal level and we wanted to show you the recap of their races! Enjoy.

Nick Chase - Against a championship-level pro fiend, Nick finished in 16th. The bike showed his strengths on a windy course with lots of turns and aero-tuck flybys. He's excited to see how the rest of his season shakes loose now that races are back on the menu.
Lesley Smith - Also against a very competitive women's pro field, Lesley placed 12th in her first race of the year, and only second race since November 2019. She's looking forward to racing more and climbing back up to podium finishes.

Maria (Flaca) Guerrero - Flaca had a fantastic race, finishing in first place in her age group (40-44) and 9th place overall female. She also enjoyed the bike course and wants to thank Pro Kelsey Withrow of also of RTS for training with her.
