Rolf Prima signs Team Vera Bradley Foundation - Women's Pro Cycling Team

Eugene, OR - Team Vera Bradley Foundation, formerly known as ValueAct Capital Women's Pro Cycling team will be training and racing on Rolf Prima wheels for the 2010 race season. The Vera Bradley Foundation was founded in 1998 by the owners of Vera Bradley, manufacturer of stylish quilted cotton handbags, luggage and accessories. To date, the Foundation has contributed $10 million to breast cancer research. More information about the Foundation is available at their website: www.verabradley.org

Team VBF will be racing with two goals in mind, one to win races and two to help generate awareness and funds for breast cancer research. The roster is packed with standout riders including Alison Powers, who achieved the number one individual NRC ranking for 2009 and took the US National Time Trial Champion title in 2008; Leah Goldstein, who holds the Israeli National Champion Road Race and Time Trial Champion title and Alison Testroete who holds the Canadian National Road Champion title.
