Rolf Prima signs Scott Neyedli of Scotland and Tyler Butterfield of Bermuda
Eugene, OR - Building on an already strong lineup for 2010, Rolf Prima announces two new additions to their sponsored athletes list. New additions include pro triathlete, Scott Neyedli of Scotland and pro triathlete, Tyler Butterfield of Bermuda.
Butterfield recently returned to racing triathlons after a four-year stint as a professional cyclist. During this time, Butterfield raced on the pro cycling team Garmin-Slipstream, where he took the overall win at the Bermuda Grand Prix Cycling Tour in 2004 and many top five finishes along the way. Returning to his love of triathlon competition, Butterfield was quick to reclaim his form with a third place finish at IronMan 70.3 Monaco and fourth at IronMan Cozumel, Mexico in 2009, qualifying him for the 2010 IronMan World Championships in Kona later this year.
Born in Scotland, Neyedli grew up competing in traditional Highland games, tossing cabers and slinging rocks; great preparation for the grueling sport of triathlons. 2007 brought Neyedli a win at IronMan UK in Bolton where he set a course record. At the 2009 Western Australia IronMan, Neyedli raced to a second place finish, just missing the title by three-minutes.
Both will be racing on Rolf Prima Carbon TT's and training on Rolf Prima Echelon's.
