Skyler Trujillo brings home an impressive record from the Euro Cross Camp

Skyler Trujillo arrived in Brussels, Belgium for the Euro Cross Camp ready to test his abilities and prepare for the coming World Championships later this month. Setting the pace at the Zolder World Cup held in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, Trujillo finished as the first American in the junior category, taking a 33rd place finish for the day.

GP Sven Nys, held in Baal on New Year’s Day, gave Trujillo another chance to shine on his Rolf Prima Cross wheels. With a sticky mud course and the occasional snow flurry, Trujillo finished an impressive 7th place, helping put three Americans in the top ten.

Finishing strong in the last race, the Gran Prix held in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium, Trujillo achieved the best American title once again. Trujillo rode with a lead pack of five for the majority of the race and held on for 10th place after losing precious seconds in the end.

Watch for Trujillo at Cross World Championships on January 30-31, held in Tabor, Czech Republic.
