Kemper Wins Lifetime Fitness Triathlon on Carbon TT Wheels
American Hunter Kemper won the 2006 Life Time Fitness Triathlon and prevailed in the ''Battle of the Sexes'' contest to claim the sport’s largest winner’s purse of $200,000.
Six-time US National Triathlon Champion and 2005 World #1 ranked triathlete, Hunter Kemper competed against a stellar field of elite professional triathletes from around the world and won the event's $200,000-value first-place prize while aboard Rolf Prima’s new Carbon TT wheels.
The event's innovative timing structure, in which the women received a 9 minute and 49 second handicap this year, allowed the field of world elite professional male and female triathletes to battle on equal ground for the top prize.
Hunter’s Carbon TT wheels are the lowest spoke count wheels available and were designed for serious riders seeking top-level lightweight, aerodynamic performance. See Rolf Prima’s entire wheel line at www.rolfprima.com.
