Rolf Prima strives to establish strong partnerships with bike shops and the athletes the shops have made significant investments in. Our intention is to link every athlete and team seeking sponsorship assistance to their local bike shop sponsor to put together a sponsorship program that works for everyone.

We receive a large number of sponsorship requests so please follow these guidelines on how to apply:

• Formal sponsorship proposals with resumes will be accepted from October 1, 2007 until December 31, 2007 for the 2008 race season. Due to the large number of requests we receive, we will reply only to approved proposals via mail or email before February 15, 2008.
• All athletes and Teams must submit a resume along with a brief written statement profiling past race results, proposed race schedule and specific product needs.
• All proposals should be no longer than (3) three pages in length. We are not able to process sponsorship requests over the phone, so no phone calls please.
• All Teams / athletes should provide a single contact along with the name and contact person of their local specialty bike shop sponsor if applicable.
• The resume must include complete contact information including name, address, phone and email address. It is critical that each proposal contains all of the relevant information listed above.
• For security reasons, we do not accept sponsorship proposals via email due to the large number of "spam" requests. Only hard-copy applications will be considered.

What else you should know about sponsorship:

• Rolf Prima has a limited budget allocated to sponsoring athletes and teams and offers no sponsorship support in terms of monetary compensation.
• Be realistic in your expectations and be specific about your needs. Most sponsorship agreements are granted in the form of a Pro Deal discount referred to as our Grassroots Sponsorship Program. This program typically requires athletes to have a strong affiliation with a stocking Rolf Prima dealer. This partnership is one way Rolf Prima can help supporting the bike shops who support aspiring athletes and the sport of cycling.  
• Sponsoring friendly, outgoing people with good character is as important to us as race results.
