Justin Daerr – Pro Triathlete

Justin Daerr, who has been racing triathlons since 2000, will be entering the 2010 season on a set of Rolf Prima Carbon 58TT's paired with the Carbon Disc. Competing in his first Ironman in 2001, Daerr's race history brings many top finishes and a number of wins. In 2003, Daerr won his age group at IronMan Florida and in 2004 took first place American Amateur at Ironman Hawaii. With his early success, Daerr was hooked and has been improving his overall times ever since. In 2008 Daerr took 5th place and set a personal best of 8:37 in Ironman Canada.

Originally growing up in Southern Texas, Daerr has had to find ways to adapt his training to the cold winter months of Boulder, Colorado where he now resides and trains. As his recent results show, adaptation was no problem and Daerr came home in 2009 with a win at the Lake to Lake triathlon held in Loveland, Colorado and a sixth place finish at Ironman Wisconsin.

Watch for Daerr at Challenge Wanaka on January, 17th in Mount Aspiring National Park in New Zealand's South Islands. In 2009 Daerr brought home a fourth place finish and set a new bike course record.
